Clashdoku Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 19, 2026
Clashdoku is an iOS Sudoku game developed by Franco Garza. This policy explains what information Clashdoku handles, why it is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
Summary
Clashdoku does not operate a developer-owned backend, create custom user accounts, show advertising, or track you across apps or websites. Most information stays on your device. Apple Game Center supports optional multiplayer Battles, and RevenueCat processes purchase information needed to unlock and restore paid content.
Information stored on your device
Clashdoku stores the following information locally to provide app functionality:
- appearance, theme, text-size, sound, and haptic preferences;
- your local profile name, avatar, achievements, and streak state;
- puzzle drafts, results, history, progress, mistakes, and completion times; and
- a streak snapshot shared with the Clashdoku widget through the app's private App Group.
This local information is not sent to or accessible by the developer. It remains until the app is removed or the relevant data is changed inside the app. Apple may include local app data in device backups according to your device and iCloud backup settings.
Apple Game Center
Clashdoku uses Apple Game Center for optional real-time Battles. When you use those features, the app may access your Game Center identifier, display name, profile photo, authentication state, and match information. If you explicitly request the friend chooser, Clashdoku also asks Apple for permission to load mutually authorized Game Center friends.
Friend identifiers, profiles, photos, and player references are held only in memory and are cleared when they are no longer needed. During a Battle, Game Center carries the puzzle, ready state, progress, completion summary, and connection state between the two players. Clashdoku does not operate a multiplayer server. A Battle result may store the opponent's display name and match statistics only in the local history on your device.
Apple processes Game Center information under the Game Center & Privacy notice and Apple Privacy Policy.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Clashdoku uses RevenueCat to load product offerings, validate the non-consumable all-content purchase, restore purchases, prevent purchase fraud, and calculate purchase-related service analytics. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, device and operating-system information, locale and currency, app-use timestamps, Apple receipt data, and purchase history.
Clashdoku does not send RevenueCat your local profile name, email address, Game Center identifier, or a custom account identifier. No RevenueCat advertising, attribution, webhook, or external analytics integration is enabled, and purchase information is not used for tracking.
RevenueCat processes this information under its Privacy Policy. Apple also processes App Store purchase information under its own privacy terms.
Privacy policy website
This policy is hosted by GitHub Pages without developer-added analytics, cookies, scripts, or tracking technologies. GitHub may process standard web-request information under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Sharing and service providers
Clashdoku shares information only as described above with Apple and RevenueCat to provide Game Center and purchase functionality. These providers are expected to protect information consistently with this policy, their published privacy commitments, and applicable law. The developer does not sell personal information.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
- Remove Clashdoku to delete its local settings, profile, history, drafts, and widget data from the device.
- Manage Game Center authentication and friend-list permission in Apple Settings. Apple controls retention and deletion of Game Center account data.
- RevenueCat retains purchase information according to its policy and legal obligations so purchases can be validated and restored.
- Email clashdoku.support@icloud.com to ask about access to or deletion of information processed for Clashdoku. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or purchase-restoration purposes.
Game Center and the friend chooser are optional. Declining friend-list permission does not block Solo or Bookshelf play. Purchase processing is required only when loading, buying, or restoring paid content.
Security
Clashdoku minimizes collection, relies on Apple's platform protections, uses encrypted network connections provided by Apple and RevenueCat, and does not operate a separate database of player information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
Clashdoku is not directed specifically to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Game Center availability and social features may be restricted by Apple based on the player's age, account, family, or device settings.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Clashdoku's features or service providers change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
